CALGARY, ALBERTA — PhantomOmics has been selected for Scale Up Canada’s Calgary50, recognizing the company as one of Calgary’s most scalable and high-potential startups for 2026.

The Calgary50 program highlights companies building technologies with the potential to drive economic growth, attract investment, and scale globally across emerging industries. PhantomOmics was recognized for its work in proactive health monitoring and senior living innovation.

The recognition comes at a critical moment for Canada’s healthcare system. Nearly one in five Canadians is now over the age of 65, and by 2030, seniors are expected to represent more than 21% of the country’s population. At the same time, Canada’s senior population is projected to grow by 68% over the next 20 years, placing increasing pressure on healthcare infrastructure, long-term care, and aging-in-place support systems.

PhantomOmics is focused on shifting healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive wellness monitoring. Using non-invasive scanning technology, the platform tracks changes in mobility, hydration, balance, circulation and other wellness indicators to help individuals and care providers identify trends earlier and make more informed lifestyle decisions.

“Being recognized as part of the Calgary50 reinforces the scale of the opportunity ahead,” said Carson Sander, CEO of PhantomOmics. “As Canada’s population continues to age, healthcare systems are under increasing strain, particularly in senior living and rural communities. We believe proactive biometric insights can help people stay healthier, independent, and supported for longer.”

Over the past year, PhantomOmics has continued expanding collaborations across senior living, sports medicine, and smart housing environments, with a focus on integrating passive wellness technology directly into everyday living spaces.

Scale Up Canada is a national non-profit organization focused on accelerating high-growth Canadian startups through investor access, commercialization support, and international visibility initiatives.

As PhantomOmics continues scaling across Canada, the company remains focused on making preventative wellness monitoring more accessible through seamless health technology designed to integrate naturally into homes, care communities, and independent living environments.
